An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Practice Nurse with strong Diabetes experience to join our friendly, supportive and dedicated team.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, motivated and a flexible team player to join our Practice.
Main duties of the job
To have a particular interest in diabetes. To assist medical personnel in the care of practice patients to include treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education.

We are a small, friendly rural Practice situated in a beautiful village.
We are a very busy Practice and the health and well-being of our patients is our main priority.
There is a lot of expertise and knowledge within our Clinical team which consists of GPs, GP Trainees, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and a HCSW.
In addition, we have a caring and helpful Patient Navigation / Reception team, a Dispensary team that provides excellent patient services and an efficient Administrative Department.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- Fully qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC number.
- Diabetes Management.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working in a primary care environment.
- Experience of chronic disease management (diabetes).
Desirable
- Experience of working in a GP Practice.
Knowledge and skills
Essential
- Ability to provide full treatment room duties.
- Infection Prevention and Control.
- QOF (Quality Outcomes Framework).
