Main duties of the job
- The delivery of
highly effective medical care to the entitled population
- The provision of
services commensurate with the GMS contract
- Effective management

administration in a timely manner
- On a rotational
basis, undertake urgent GP role
- Contribute to the
successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives
within the practice

About us
Beaumont Elms Practice is a dynamic and friendly practice across two
sites located in Beaumont Street in the Oxford City Centre and Elms Road in
Botley. We have around 24,000 patients and a dedicated clinical team of 18 GPs,
a nursing team of eight, three Clinical Pharmacist, a Physicians Associate and five
Healthcare Assistants. The clinical team are ably supported by large reception
and admin teams. We are a teaching and training practice educating medical
students and the next generation of GPs and are committed to ongoing training
and development of all our staff, through education and learning meetings and
external events.
We have a reputation for providing high quality care to our diverse
patient population and place a strong emphasis on our team, inside and outside
the practice including daily Huddle meetings and social events.
We are an active member of the Healthier Oxford PCN, which is made up
of 3 other local surgeries. Our growing PCN shares the use of two social
prescribers, a health coach, first contact musculoskeletal practitioners,
dietician and a mental health practitioner.

excellent standard of clinical care, sharing best practice, providing peer
support and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the
multidisciplinary team.

Experience

- Experience of working in a primary care environment
- Experience of continued professional development
- Experience of QOF and clinical audit
- General understanding of the GMS contract

Qualifications
