Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing
practices.
- Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans
of care based on the needs of the individual.
- Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
- Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
- Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary
relationships
- The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Job Title: - Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Location: - Watford, West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust
Pay Rate: £16-£23 Per hour
Hours: - Flexible
About the Trust-West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides acute hospital-based and specialist healthcare services to around half a million people living in Hertfordshire, north London and further afield. The Trust was the first hospital in Europe to treat patients with Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, a type of ventilator that helps patients to breathe more naturally and recover more quickly. Hertfordshire has the best of both worlds, surrounded by beautiful countryside but with good road and rail links to both London and Cambridge, as well as comprehensive bus services across the main towns (Hemel Hempstead, St. Albans and Watford).

- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years
- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
- Undertake regular mandatory training*
