Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the Runnymede & Spelthorne Community Mental Health Recovery Service Team for working age Adults. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a committed individual who is also keen in carer progression and taking on available training opportunities to achieving personal goals.
Desirably candidate to have some previous experience of working with people with mental health difficulties. The successful candidates will have good organisational skills and IT literate. You will also need excellent communication skills and you will need to work alongside other agencies to promote holistic recovery-focused care.
You will carry a supervised caseload, take an active part in our multi-disciplinary meetings and be part of the shared care team. You will have regular supervision and also have the opportunity to further your career development.
Main duties of the job
This will involve practical work with people such as implementing skill teaching programmes to promote good health, and social inclusion.
To provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care and in line with the recovery model to our service users
To carry out duties as designated by the team leader.
To provide support to the person responsible for the clinical care of the service user.
To accurately record service user information.
To provide support to relatives/carers.
To provide support to nurses in the depot/Clozapine Clinic (including phlebotomy). Training to be offered to right candidate
