us in providing high quality medical care within our specialist
neuro-rehabilitation in-patient unit, working within an enthusiastic and
progressive team. This post is fixed term for 24 months in the first instance.

vocational rehabilitation
environmental control assessment
continuing care of severe brain injury
e.g. PVS
About us
The
trust provides a district specialist service to patients with a range of
disabling neurological conditions including brain injury, stroke, degenerative
and progressive neurological discases such as multiple sclerosis, Guillain
Barre Syndrome or polyneuropathy, non-traumatic spinal cord injury, and
neurological tumors.
The
rehabilitation service provides on-sate outpatient facilities within a full
range of therapy departments, providing follow-up treatment to patients
discharged from the ward and treatment programs to patients referred through
the outpatient clinics. In addition, the service has
the
flexibility to provide assessment and therapy input to the community where
appropriate.

About you:
To be successful, you will need to meet the
below criteria:
MRCPsych or
equivalent qualification.
Full General Medical
Council Registration and License to Practice.
Have completed at
least four years full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a
part-time or flexible basis), at least two of which should bein a
relevant specialty (e.g. Neuropsychiatrist), or as a fixed-term specialty
trainee in a relevant specialty.
Appropriate practical
skills for Neuropsychiatrist work.
Excellent communication
skills.
Demonstrable
organizational and time management skills.
A genuine interest in
specialising in Neuropsychiatrist and commitment to professional development in
the field.
Successfully
completed and achieved a pass mark (level 7) in English, from either OET OR
IELTS.

Qualifications
Essential
- Medical Degree and board of certification in Psychiatry
- Valid GMC registration and license
- MRCPsych

- Specialization or substantial experience in Community Psychiatry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
