Job summary
the Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides HR services to a number of Departments, Boards and Offices of Isle of Man Government. This post will play a key role in partnering with the Board and Senior Leaders of Manx Care, including Manx Cares Executive Director for People, to drive workforce, culture and leadership transformation. Working within the Office of Human Resources you will lead the Manx Care Business Partners to develop and deliver strategic initiatives aimed at improving the recruitment, development, management and retention of Manx Care staff.
Main duties of the job
You will have responsibility for OHRs support of, and input to, the Manx Care people strategy and response to the Care Quality Commission review as it relates to people as well as any response required in relation to the Ofsted inspection of Social Care.

About the role
As Head of HR for Manx Care, youll be at the forefront of driving change, fostering a vibrant workplace culture and leading transformation. Collaborating closely with the OHR Business Partners and Manx Care Leadership Team, you will help to strategically shape the future of Manx Care and the Office of Human Resources. Your main goal will be to enhance the recruitment, development, management, and retention of Manx Care staff.
