About us

This role would be equally attractive for a GP that has recently completed their training, as well as a more experienced GP. We are passionate about advancing Primary Care to meet the current and future challenges and strive to work in a manner that supports our doctors and is sustainable whilst providing high quality care. We want Primary Care to be enjoyable and vibrant. We have two experienced ANPs and one experienced paramedic as well as a Mental Health team via the PCN who provide some appropriate mental health triage.

More recently, we have embraced change, adapting, and evolving through the Covid-19 Pandemic and have used these experiences to build a better service for our patients and GPs. Our sessions are a combination of triaged and face2face appointments, as well as continuing to utilise E-Consults and videos where appropriate. We do not run traditional duty surgeries but rather telephone triage is carried out in twos or threes, with these doctors seeing urgent extras in our Sit & Wait clinics throughout day supporting each other, particularly after 4pm. Our ANP undertakes most of our home visits. Our prescribing Pharmacist Team manages most medication queries and reviews, along with repeat prescription requests.

We aim to finish daily by 6pm and operate an 'open door' policy. We would welcome you to visit us for an informal chat and to see how we work. Please contact the Practice Manager, Evie Rogers on 01803 841800 or by email [email protected]
