Essential
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship and relevant Level 3 qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Experience maintaining, fault-finding and repairing mechanical building services and plant equipment
- Knowledge of steam systems, PSSR requirements, water systems and safe systems of work
- Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, professionalism and commitment to Trust Values and CPD
Desirable
- Previous NHS, healthcare or critical infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience working on steam boilers, pressure vessels, calorifiers or water safety systems
- Experience using CAFM systems, BMS systems and electronic maintenance records
- Additional specialist training (HTM Competent Person, Legionella, Health & Safety, supervisory training)
