Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Physiotherapy Rotation at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT).Posts available:Permanent, full-time posts on ourNorth Rotation(Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex)Permanent/Fixed term, full-time post on our East Rotation (Brighton and Hove and Lewes)
We welcome applicationsfrom established Band 5 Physiotherapists and from recently graduated Physiotherapists. We will accept applicants who have completed their studies with HCPC registration pending, however, we will not be accepting applications from those who have not yet completed their studies. This post will be advertised internally for the first 10 days, followed by externally until adequate applicant numbers are reached. Rotational posts attract high numbers of applicants, and it is likely that this advert will close before the documented closing date. We recommend that you apply early to avoid disappointment.
Main duties of the job
You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuing professional development to assist in your progression. The rotations enable Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles.
Rotations available on our North Rotation include:
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Community Therapy Team
- Intermediate Care Units (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
- Stroke Rehabilitation (Inpatient)
- Paediatrics
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Community Therapy Team
- Sussex Rehab Centre (Amputee Rehab)
- Falls and Fracture Prevention
- Intermediate Care Units (InpatientRehabilitation)
- Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team
- Home First
- In Reach
Hours of work for full time staff are 37.5hrs per week.Hours will primarily fall within 08:00 and 17:00 with the potential to work the hours in different arrangements in some rotations.
