We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN/ RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You'll be working 30 hours a wee k(6 hours days Monday to Friday working pattern to be discussed at interview) at Sheffield Day Services.
Sheffield Day Services support people with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, in addition to those with complex health needs, physical disabilities and autism.
We aim to enhance the quality of life of the individuals who attend the service. We focus on demonstrating outcomes and value through our activities.
You will provide specialist nursing support within Learning Disability Day Services, ensuring the health, wellbeing, and safety of people with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
Your Day-to-Day
- Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations
- Promote best practice in the management of long-term health conditions, epilepsy, dysphagia, diabetes, PEG feeding, medication management, and other complex healthcare needs.
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.
- Open, compassionate, honest & resilient
- Newly Qualified or Experienced RNLD with a current Pin Number
- Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits
- Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices
- Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
- Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk
- Helping to empower & support service user independence.
- £22.50 Per Hour
- Strong career progression opportunities within the region, including into management roles
