We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Administrator to join our friendly team based at John Parkes Unit, at the Annexe, Torbay Hospital. You will have a key role in providing support across the full range of office and service activities, including the smooth running of the office, reception and front of house duties and administrative support to a range of frontline clinicians & managers.

This is a permanent part time position working 22.5 hours per week (3 days working 9am-5pm)

Main duties of the job

Front of house & reception support: welcoming visitors, answering calls, taking accurate messages, and providing a warm, professional first point of contact.

General office administration: scanning, filing, updating records, processing mail, generating letters, and keeping systems accurate and up to date.

Customer service: communicating clearly and sensitively with service users, families, colleagues and external professionals.

Service support: ordering supplies, handling petty cash in line with policy, and reporting gaps or issues to managers.

  • Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 3 months)
