Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the friendly Intensive Care Unit team at Whipps CrossHospital. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses who are committed todelivering high quality care to critically ill patients and their families.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care topatients requiring intensive care and high dependency support. You will work closely with themultidisciplinary team and be supported to develop the specialist knowledge and skills required tocare for this complex patient group.Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with a live NMC registration and recent acute careexperience. Excellent communication skills, the ability to recognise and respond to deterioratingpatients and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.This role offers excellent opportunities for learning and development within a supportive critical careenvironment, with access to education, mentorship and career progression pathways. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to deliveringoutstanding patient care.
Main duties of the job
The aim of this post is to develop ICU nurses within the clinical area. The post holder will provide direct care to critically ill patients under the supervision of senior colleagues whilst acquiring and developing the specialist skills and knowledge to meet the needs of this patient group
