Job summary
The Facilities Department are looking to recruit a number of hard-working enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly and dynamic Cleanliness Services Team at Arrowe Park Hospital.

The role of the Healthcare Cleaning Professional is to support the smooth day to day operational running of our hospital through achieving excellent cleaning standards that will provide a clean and safe healthcare environment that meets our patient's expectations.
Part time Healthcare Cleaning Professional
Various Afternoon & Evening shifts
There will be a requirement to work Bank Holidays.
Main duties of the job
General baseline cleaning duties of the hospital environment will include mopping, vacuuming, damp dusting, cleaning of toilets and bathrooms and serving beverages to patients.
Additional specialised cleaning duties, including infection prevention and control cleaning, will be required as directed.
The successful Healthcare Cleaning Professional candidates will be required to:
- have a flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload and work in all areas of the hospital as instructed
- have customer service skills
- be friendly and approachable
- be reliable with good time management
- have awareness of Infection Prevention and Control practices within a healthcare environment
- demonstrate the core capabilities and behaviours of the role
- be passionate about delivering a high-quality service
Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to provide the knowledge and skills to be a competent Healthcare Cleaning Professional. Uniform will be provided.
