Cygnet Healthcare are looking for a confident, experiencedRegistered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team atWillow House.
You will be working42 hours per week (07:45 AM/PM till 08:00 AM/PM), including days/nights and alternative weekends.
Willow House is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with learning disabilities complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.
We also support people who have associated mental and physical health needs, including those with a secondary diagnosis of autism. With our in-house qualified Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses (RMNs and RNLDs), we can provide specialist nursing care and support, which is tailored to the needs of the individual.
We can also offer bespoke packages including Speech and Language Therapy input for individuals that may require it. We aim to promote increased independence and community integration for the individuals in our care.
Your day-to-day at Willow House:
- Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments & observations
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, & improve quality
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
- Under NMC guideline s, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with patients, relatives & other healthcare professionals
- Safe administration of medication as per local and national guidelines
- Provide effective direction and support to junior members of the team
Essential:
- An experienced RMN or RNLD with a current PIN Number
- The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity in your role
- A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
- A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage & reduce risk
- Compassion, resilience & a dedication to empower & support service user independence
- Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices
- Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
