Job summary
This is a Band 3 Ophthalmic technician role. We are looking for someone who has all ophthalmic technician skills and also role models the trust values in their everyday working.
You should be able to test visual acuity, intra-ocular pressure, visual fields, OCT
This role will work at St Thomas' Hospital and Minnie Kidd House Community Ophthalmology Clinic with varying shifts.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for experienced Ophthalmic technicians run to ophthalmic clinics. This is a full time Band 3 Job which involves to provide a comprehensive, high quality and excellent ophthalmic service at St Thomas Hospital and Minnie Kidd House Community Clinic.
The duties will involve being part of a multidisciplinary team, testing visual acuity, visual fields, intra-ocular pressure and using ophthalmic equipment such as auto refractors and ophthalmic imaging devices: OCT, Optos, Pentacam
