Job summary

If yes, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking to recruit a Band 4 Support Time and Recovery Worker to Dacorum Adult Community Mental Health Services.

Our team is based in Hemel Hempstead and provides services to the locality of Dacorum (Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Tring and surrounding villages). The service operates Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Job Summary:o To work as part of a team which provides mental health services to service users and their carerso To focus directly the on the needs of service users requiring accommodationsolutions using the Support Time and Recovery Model.o To work across service and/or care group boundaries as necessary.o To work closely in association with the Team Leader, other senior staff and otheragencies, to help maximise the quality and quantity of STAR services withinavailable resourceso To work within the Care Programme Approach / Care Management process with afocus on Recovery Principleso To provide support, give time and thus promote recovery

Main duties of the job

o To provide support, give time to an allocated group of service users and thuspromote their recovery and promote their place in the broader community.o To contribute towards the management of a team of STAR workers, by leading onclearly identified, appropriate day to day team management tasks.o Responsible for providing support to the Care Coordinator, in the implementationof a recovery focused care plan for an allocated number of individual service users and carers.o To ensure that service users engage beneficially with the agreed Care Plan andaccess appropriate services provided on a regular and consistent basis.o To positively promote independent living of service users within community.
