Job summary
An exciting 23 month fixed term post is available for an audiologist who would enjoy working with a friendly team in a busy, large department that offers a wide range of clinical services.
The ideal candidate must be someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about excellent evidence-based service delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver diagnostic and rehabilitation services for adults with a range of pathologies and degrees of hearing loss. The variety of patients that are typically seen in the service requires a significant depth of clinical knowledge which makes the position challenging and interesting.
You will be part of a large, supportive team who strives to practice the Trust values of being kind, excellent, responsible and respectful towards each other and patients alike.
Main duties of the job
The Audiology Department is based across St George's Hospital and 3 community sites nearby, all within reach by public transport. The successful candidate will be providing adult hearing aid work. With the service providing adult and paediatric hearing, tinnitus and vestibular as well as auditory implant services, this gives opportunity for exposure to other areas of clinical interest.
