Job summary
Are you driven, highly motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent people management and leadership skills?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution Team in the Leeds Pharmaceutical Warehouse based in Hunslet, South Leeds and the successful candidate will form part of the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution Management team. This post will focus on providing a quality stock medicines supply service that ultimately ensures our patients receive medicines which meet the required quality standards.
Main duties of the job
Applicants must have BTEC qualification in a relevant subject / NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services / Leadership and /or management qualification (or proven equivalent experience)
Applicants must already hold an accredited qualification of minimum NVQ Level 2 in Pharmaceutical Services plus substantial post qualification experience in developed job role.
This is a requirement of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

What you will bring to the roleThe role will focus on, but is not limited to, supporting the Pharmacy Warehouse Management team with the Quality Management System and ensuring the warehouse wholesaler dealer licenced activity meets with MHRA Good Distribution Practice (GDP) rules and guidance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the warehouse team line management, training and development. This will include supporting the Management Team with recruitment and workforce planning within the service. Also contributing to Leeds Improvement Method (LIM) projects and continuous improvement methodologies.
This role will also support the Warehouse Management team with a substantial project involving the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYATT), in collaboration with Pharmacy Preparative Services. This will involve the exciting opportunity for planning the transfer to new premises.
