Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trauma and Orthopaedics team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, alongside Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthogeriatricians, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Trauma Nurse Practitioners, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job
- Deliver high-quality, safe and patient-centred care in line with Trust policies and professional standards.
- Support the day-to-day coordination of the ward and provide leadership in the absence of the Ward Manager or Team Leader.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
- Manage concerns, complaints, incidents and risks appropriately, escalating when required.
- Identify and escalate staffing, operational and patient safety issues to support effective service delivery.
- Participate in clinical supervision, mandatory training, reflective practice and continuing professional development.
- Apply learning to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
- Support the induction, supervision and development of student nurses, newly qualified nurses and new team members.
- Promote effective multidisciplinary working and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Contribute to clinical audit, quality improvement and service development activities.
- Use resources responsibly and efficiently to support the delivery of high-quality care.
- Undertake clinical, administrative and leadership duties as delegated.
