Salary - £90,440 FTE

Part-time - 30 hours per week

Priory Hospital Bristol has an exciting opportunity for a Speciality Doctor to join our team on our brand-new Mixed Acute Ward. This role is 30 hours per week and the actual salary will be £72,352 per annum.

Main duties of the job

The ward provides specialist inpatient care for adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties, supporting both male and female patients. Youll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective and recovery-focused psychiatric and physical healthcare.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute mental health disorders.
  • Provide comprehensive physical healthcare within the inpatient setting.
  • Work closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, MDTs, RMOs, GPs, pharmacists and external agencies.
  • Support patients throughout their admission, contributing to their treatment and recovery plans.
  • Provide on-call cover as required.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, communication and patient safety.
