Job summary
Temporary Staffing Services (Bank) - Admin & Clerical Opportunities Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, LGT, Temporary Staffing Services, Bank, is seeking to expand its pool of experienced temporary workers for Administrative and Clerical assignments. This is to support with a number of high priority projects over the next nine months. These are ad hoc, temporary opportunities that arise as and when required across a variety of divisions and departments at our two hospital sites: University Hospital Lewisham Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich Assignments can vary in duration and structure, ranging from single day placements to opportunities lasting several weeks. Please note: Bank work cannot be guaranteed and should not be relied upon as a reliable source of income. Main duties of the job
Answering the telephone, call centre, dealing with internal/patient focused queries, taking telephone messages and relaying them to the appropriate person/people/division.
Responding to email queries and passing to the relevant departments/people/division concerned
Photo copying/scanning
You may also be required to access and work on various digitalised internal systems (depending on placement) so accurate data entry is essential
Making and re-scheduling appointments over the telephone and in person using system-based booking facilities

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a community focused provider of local and acute care, providing high Lewisham quality services to over one million people living across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley. With a turnover of around £700 million, we provide services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, University Hospital Lewisham and a range of community settings in Lewisham.
