Job summary

Cygnet Group are looking for a confident and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker whos passionate about making a real difference to join our team at Cygnet Raglan House. This is a fulltime role (42 hours per week), working 12hour shifts across days and nights, including every other weekend. Women admitted to the service often come from multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or are stepping down from secure settings.

Your day-to-day

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care

  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support

  • Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way

  • Assist with medical & welfare needs

  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required

  • Safeguard

  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all

  • Experienced Mental Health Support Worker with over 6 months of experience within a mental health setting

  • Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment

  • Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence
