Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an apprentice position within the Trust Headquarters Executive Administration Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working individual to join our Team to provide an efficient and effective service to support the smooth running of Trust Headquarters.
The role will involve general reception duties, along with a wide range of office procedures and transactional processes. In return the apprentice will receive in-house and off-the-job training which would lead to a formal qualification.
This is a fixed-term contract working full time (37.5 hours/week) Monday to Friday, and will be based at Trust Headquarters in Lincoln.

Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to the Executive Administration Team.
To provide an efficient and effective reception service at Trust Headquarters including meeting and greeting those that enter the building and handle incoming and outgoing post.
To answer incoming calls in a prompt and friendly manner, some of which may be non-routine and may involve information of an emotional and distressing nature. To connect caller to desired member of staff, another appropriate person or take a message.
To gain an understanding of the key areas of the Trust and be able to deal sensibly with queries and direct callers to the correct person/department.
To follow established process with regards to allowing entry to the building, including processing of appropriate members of staff Smartcards.
To keep internal telephone directory up-to-date and distribute to staff. Including updating the fireboard in the building.
