The role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory requirements and business targets. Key responsibilities include maintaining high standards of care, overseeing staff recruitment and development, ensuring safe staffing levels, and managing budgets. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, effective communication abilities, and flexibility. Successful candidates must have a minimum of four years' experience in a similar care environment, hold a Leadership and Management Level 5 qualification or equivalent, and have a current NMC PIN.

- Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents wellbeing.
- Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
- Providing on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
