Main duties of the job

Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Care Home General Manager - Clinical for their Purley Gardens Care Home. The role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory requirements and business targets. Key responsibilities include maintaining high standards of care, overseeing staff recruitment and development, ensuring safe staffing levels, and managing budgets. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, effective communication abilities, and flexibility. Successful candidates must have a minimum of four years' experience in a similar care environment, hold a Leadership and Management Level 5 qualification or equivalent, and have a current NMC PIN.

  • Providing on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
  • Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
