Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SaBP) is an ambitious provider of mental health, drug and alcohol and learning disability services for people of all ages in Surrey and North-East Hampshire. We provide a broad range of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency community services, early intervention and detection programmes, as well as highly specialised therapy and inpatient treatment. We are lookingto appoint an Associate Non-Executive Director to our Board, with recent (current or within the last 3 years) primary care experience as a G.P.Of equal importance,is youralignment with our values andability to think strategically:helpingus look beyond the boundaries of our organisationandbuildrelationships and partnershipswithour community and acrossa broad range of public, voluntaryand social enterprise sector organisations.

This role is a public appointment and not subject to the provisions of employment law.

NHS boards play a key role in shaping the strategy, vision and purpose of an organisation. They hold the organisation to account for the delivery of strategy and ensure value for money.
