Job summary

This post is part of a small clinical audit team which helps to improve the quality of our services by facilitating a range of clinical audit and effectiveness projects. The person will be responsible for facilitating the clinical audit and effectiveness plan within our Trust, bringing together and prioritising work on initiatives including NICE guidelines, the National Audit Framework and local audit in a consistent way. The post has management responsibility for a part-time administrator.

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible and accountable on a day-to-day basis for clinical audit and
  • effectiveness work in our Trust,

Manage and coordinate priority projects required for implementation of clinical audit across our Trust

To work with the Associate Director of Quality and Assurance to shape and lead our Trust's Clinical Audit and Effectiveness plan and to lead the implementation of this plan, as well as tracking progress and providing feedback on this throughout the year.
