Main duties of the job

The role of a Residential Care Manager at Avery Healthcare involves managing Care Supervisors to ensure high-quality personal care delivery to residents. The manager acts as an advocate for residents, focusing on their wellbeing in all areas. Responsibilities include coordinating resident assessments, supporting team development, and managing equipment storage. Ensuring compliance with the Safe Medication Management program and conducting Quality Care Spot Checks are also key duties. The ideal candidate will embody values of caring, honesty, and accountability and must have an NVQ Level 4 in Care, experience in long-term care, and knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards.
