Job summary
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Service for a Band 6 Physiotherapist.
This role is ideal for a physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal or long-term conditions, looking to develop specialist skills in chronic pain management using a biopsychosocial approach.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients to improve their function and quality of life through rehabilitation, education and self-management strategies.

Main duties of the job
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients with chronic pain
- Support patients to develop self-management skills and improve functional outcomes
- Develop psychological skills (e.g. motivational interviewing, CBT, ACT) to facilitate patient care
- Assist in delivering pain education and structured group programmes
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team (physiotherapists, psychologists, nurses, consultants)
- Participate in audit, service development and quality improvement projects
