OPPD West Social Care Pathway - Customer Service Assistant - Band 2 (Agenda for Change)

0.6 part time post 22:30 hours per weekMonday 09:00am - 13:30pm

We are looking for a highly experienced and hard-working Administrator to complement our Business Support team supporting the OPPD West Social Care Pathway.

The post holder will work as part of a Customer Service Team and work under supervision of the Business Support Officers. You will be working within a Customer Service Team providing a point of contact for the Adult Social Care Customer Service Centre, filtering telephone calls or redirecting as necessary from members of the public or other agencies

Main duties of the job

The role requires confidentiality, initiative, flexibility and capability of working under pressure and to deadlines. The role will require additional flexibility to provide ad hoc business support duties across all Adult Social Care services at times of service need.

  • IT qualification equivalent, i.e.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.

  • Experience of using computer-based information systems in an office environment
  • Ability and experience of using IT systems including Microsoft Office and MS Teams and have accurate and competent keyboard skills
