It can involve supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care, helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea. The role also includes providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation, as well as helping with medication. Agincare offers fully funded professional training, qualifications, and career development, with flexible contracts to suit you. You can earn up to £14.20 per hour, plus paid mileage and a £500 welcome bonus. They also provide Blue Light discounts and a pension scheme. No previous care experience is necessary, but you should have a full UK driving licence and a warm and compassionate nature.
