NNUH are pleased to be recruiting for Admin & Clerical bank workers, to join our Temporary Workforce Register to work in placements at various bandings. You will support our teams in a variety of roles across the Trust and will be able to work flexibly around your other commitments. The roles are mainly based at our hospital sites however there may be opportunities to work remotely from home, although this isn't guaranteed.
The types of roles we often have available are:
- Receptionists
- Ward Clerks
- Administrative Assistants
- Waiting List Coordinator
- Corporate Administrators e.g. recruitment administrators
- PALS & Complaints Administrators
- Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant
- Support Secretaries
- Medical /Senior Medical Secretaries
(Please note availability for roles varies depending on demand and no role is guaranteed, the above is an example of the types of placements we have).
Payrates will vary depending on the required role. Placements are generally required at Band 2 and Band 3 level, however higher banded roles may become available.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit passionate and hardworking people to help support departments across the trust. Job duties will vary according to placements.
Successful candidates will be able to:

- Demonstrate a flexible attitude
- Adapt to different tasks in diverse settings/departments and learn new skills
- Use IT systems and MS Office packages
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a methodical approach to working
Through the application and selection process you should be able to provide evidence of these skills and related experience.
If successful, once your recruitment checks are complete, we will pass your details over to the Booking Desk team who will send you details of available work. We have longer term placements and also ad-hoc shifts available. As well as booking via our Booking Desk team, you can also request access to our online booking system to book a selection of shifts online.
