Radiographer (Bank) Cambridge Hospital | Radiology | Ad hoc | Part time Up to £23.00 per hour depending on experience

Main duties of the job

As a Radiographer you will: Perform highquality diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R, departmental protocols, and professional guidelines. Rotate across imaging areas including: General Radiography, Mobile Imaging, Fluoroscopy, Theatres and CT. Adjust imaging techniques to meet the clinical and individual needs of patients. Maintain accurate clinical records using RIS/PACS Contribute to outofhours, weekend, and oncall rotas as required.

As a Radiographer at our hospital, you'll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You will have a great eye for detail and be caring by nature. You must hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork skills. The successful candidate will participate in departmental rotations, gaining experience in areas such as General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Theatre Imaging, Mobile Radiography and CT (depending on experience) to deliver highquality, patientcantered diagnostic imaging services. You will adhere to professional, legal, and organisational standards while contributing to efficient, safe, and effective delivery of imaging services. As a Radiographer you will:

  • Perform highquality diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R, departmental protocols, and professional guidelines.
