Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to help launch and shape Suffolks new WorkWell service in partnership with Suffolk Mind. As a Senior Work and Health Coach, you will combine direct participant support with day-to-day coordination and supervision of a local team of Work and Health Coaches, helping people overcome health-related barriers so they can remain in, return to, or start employment.

WorkWell is an early-intervention work and health service with a focus on prevention, which includes holistic support for their health-related barriers to employment. It will provide evidence based, low intensity work and health assessments that support individuals with their low-level occupational health needs to overcome barriers to work.

Main duties of the job

Make a difference you will:

Hold a varied caseload and co-produce practical WorkWell plans around each participants health, work and wider needs.

Coordinate local delivery, support Work and Health Coaches, and help maintain safe, timely and consistent practice.

Build strong links with employers, primary care and local health, employment, skills and community partners.

Turn feedback, data and learning into practical improvements for participants and the team.

What you will bring:

Experience in coaching, advice, health, employment or community support, with confidence managing a varied caseload.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Experience supporting colleagues, coordinating work or providing supervision.
