Main duties of the job
Join our Naseby care home as a Bank Cook and use your creativity to prepare delicious, comforting meals that brighten our residents days. From meeting dietary needs to creating themed food days, your cooking will make a real difference. Enjoy a salary of £13.50 per hour, with evenings free and every other weekend off. Additional perks include a refer-a-friend bonus up to £1,000, funded training and career development opportunities up to QCF Level 5, Blue Light discounts, and a company pension. On-demand pay is also offered. We seek someone with a minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK, experience in a professional kitchen, and knowledge of IDDSI or complex dietary needs is desirable. The role requires flexibility to work as and when needed, including weekdays and weekends, under a zero hour contract. Responsibilities include preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual needs, creating enjoyable dining experiences, planning daily menus, and maintaining high standards in food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
