Job summary

Woodbank Surgery are a friendly surgery serving around 7300 patients.

We are looking to expand our team and recruit a person in to our new Senior Operations Lead role

Main duties of the job

  • Oversee the daily running of the practice.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels across reception and administration teams.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies.
  • Monitor service performance against practice objectives and NHS requirements.
  • Lead business continuity and contingency planning.
Workforce Management
  • Manage and supervise non-clinical staff.
  • Support recruitment, induction, training, and performance management processes.
  • Conduct appraisals and regular staff reviews.
  • Promote staff wellbeing and positive team culture.

Our team are friendly and professional comprising of 4 GPs 1 ANP and 1 Practice Nurse.

  • Experience working with policies, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Essential Skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
