Job summary
Our Reception Team is responsible for making initial patient contact an effective one whether on front desk or via telephone in an efficient and professional manner.
Main duties of the job
Within the day to day role duties will include communication face to face and via telephone with patients, opening and closing the surgery, checking email, actioning blood and test results, actioning system connect, booking appointments, sign-posting patients to relevant members of staff, assisting patients to access the on-line service, dealing with deliveries, booking clinics, booking home visits, changing clinics, liaising with all members of the team plus general admin duties.
The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is able to work as part of a team, previous Reception & Customer Service experience and knowledge of System 1 would be useful.
Experience of working as a Medical Receptionist is desirable but no essential as full training will be given
About us
Linden Road Surgery is looking to welcome a new Receptionist to our already busy and friendly team.
This part-time role is for 26 hours per week, with Fridays as the scheduled day off.
Hours
Monday - 1.00pm - 6.30pm
Tuesday - 7.45am - 1.00pm
Wednesday - 7.45am - 12.30pm & 1.00pm - 6.30pm
Thursday -1.00pm - 6.30pm
Friday - DAY OFF
