Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Renal Department within the Abdominal Medicine & Surgery Clinical Service Unit at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Band 3 Medical Secretary. This role is central to supporting a busy clinical service, providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating patient pathways, managing clinical correspondence, preparing clinic documentation, and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an organised, proactive and motivated individual with excellent communication and IT skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise a varied workload, and a commitment to delivering a professional and compassionate service to patients and colleagues.
