Launceston & Tamar Valley Integrated Neighbourhood Team
37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Salary £39,959 - £58,500 dependent on experience and qualifications
Fixed-term contract 12-18 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the developing Launceston & Tamar Valley Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) and support the delivery of integrated health and care across our neighbourhood.
We are looking for an experienced, organised and collaborative manager who can work across organisational boundaries, bring people together and help turn agreed priorities into practical delivery.
Working alongside primary care, community services and wider health, care and voluntary sector partners, you will support and coordinate neighbourhood projects, programme delivery, service development, performance reporting and partnership working.
This is a hands-on, neighbourhood-facing role. We are looking for someone who wants to understand how services work in practice, build relationships with the people delivering them and help overcome the practical barriers to effective integrated working.
You will need strong project or programme management skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and the confidence to work with a wide range of clinical, operational and senior colleagues.
Experience within health, social care or a similarly complex multi-agency environment would be particularly valuable.
Main duties of the job
The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week over five days, with contractual working bases across Callington, Gunnislake and Launceston.
Hybrid working is available, with up to two days per week working from home, subject to the needs of the service.
Regular travel across the neighbourhood will be required. Eligible business mileage for travel to locations outside the contractual working bases will be payable in accordance with the employing organisation's expenses policy.
Salary
The role is available from Agenda for Change Band 6 to Band 8a, with the level of appointment dependent upon the successful candidate's qualifications, skills and relevant experience.
If you are an experienced project, programme, service or operational manager looking for an opportunity to help shape and deliver a developing model of integrated neighbourhood care, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
About us
No two days are likely to be the same. You might start the day working from one of our bases in Callington, Gunnislake or Launceston, meeting with clinical or operational teams to understand how a service or pathway is working in practice. Later, you could attend an INT, project or partner meeting, coordinate actions across organisations, support a project lead with progressing a piece of work, or meet with community services and other partners to build relationships and identify opportunities for closer working.
Part of your week will also involve analysing information, monitoring project progress, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining action and risk logs, and providing clear updates to the INT Board and Leadership Team. Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams, as well as clinical health systems, will be important. The role combines relationship-building and time spent with services across the neighbourhood with the focused programme, reporting and administrative work needed to keep projects moving.
Please note, we reserve the right to close the advert early should there be a significantly high level of applications.
