Job summary
The post offered is that of a part-time Specialty Doctor in Older Adult Psychiatry, working within the Haringey Memory Service. This is a new post within Older Adult Community Services division. It is a great opportunity to gain a great deal of experience and knowledge working in Older Adult Psychiatry. It has arisen due to a transfer of resource to the Haringey memory service to support and enhance service delivery of the diagnosis to end of life service model for dementia care provided by the memory service. The service provides assessments to individuals with cognitive and functional decline and ongoing care for those living at home.
Main duties of the job
The post is full-time for 5 Programmed Activities (PA): 4 Direct Clinical Care (DCC) and 1 Supported Professional Actitivies (SPA). The post holder will be supported by the Consultant Psychiatrist working within the Memory Clinic, as well as a team and service manager.
