Job summary
Norfolk & Suffolk NHS FoundationTrust (NSFT) are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our existing multi-disciplinary professional maintenance team in providing a safe environment for all service users, staff and visitors across our Suffolk & Norfolk sites being based in Norwich.

The successful candidate would be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident in being part of a team that provides a comprehensive maintenance service in a unique and varied environment.
Please note that this role does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a skilled worker visa. The Trust will not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship, so any successfully appointed candidate will need to maintain their own independent right to work for the duration of their role. If you require sponsorship and apply for this role, regrettably, your application will be withdrawn.
Main duties of the job
Duties & Responsibilities associated with this role include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out routine, planned and reactive tasks to ensure our buildings and equipment is safe and fully compliant
- Assisting the members of the maintenance team in all aspects of planned, routine and reactive maintenance across our estate
- Assisting in the repair and maintenance of a wide range of buildings and equipment
- Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation
