Job summary

Working with a skilled and supportive nursing team, you'll provide high-quality care and health checks that help people stay well and manage their health needs. Based onthis role supports patients through a range of clinical and preventative healthcare activities, helping deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.

Main duties of the job

What you'll do:

• Carry out health reviews and clinical procedures such as NHS health checks, electrocardiograms (ECGs), wound care, blood pressure monitoring and venepuncture
• Support patients and carers with information, advice and reassurance within agreed competencies
• Record patient information accurately using electronic patient records
• Prepare clinical rooms and equipment, manage stock levels and maintain a safe environment
• Work closely with colleagues and partner services to provide coordinated patient care

What we're looking for:

• A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a healthcare setting and managing your own workload
• Good basic information technology skills and confidence using electronic systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
• A caring, respectful approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
