We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated midwife to join our leadership team as Team Leader for Delivery Suite at the Leeds General Infirmary. This is an excellent opportunity to influence the future of maternity care, lead a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, drive innovation, and shape the experience of women, babies and families during one of life's most significant moments. What you will bring to the roleWe are seeking an inspirational midwife who can bring energy, vision and strong leadership to our Delivery Suite team. The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate substantial experience within maternity services and a passion for intrapartum care.
- Inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional patient-centred care.
- Lead and support a large multidisciplinary workforce, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based practice.
- Support service development and implement innovative ways of working.
- Be confident in managing workforce, resources and departmental budgets.
- Champion staff wellbeing, professional development and education.
- Work clinically when required through escalation
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
- Act as a visible role model, embodying the values of The Leeds Way.
