Job summary

This role offers the opportunity to work within the multidisciplinary diabetes team providing support for people with Diabetes across Somerset. The post is for 30 hours working between Monday to Friday, days will be agreed with the successful candidate.
Main duties of the job

- Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 3. This could be a Vocational NVQ, BTEC or equivalent international qualification in healthcare or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of experience
- Ability to prioritise work, to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Understanding of Diabetes as a Chronic condition and potential for associated health complications.
- Knowledge of clinical audit processes

- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
- Experience of lone working, working on own initiative.
- Experience of working in a team.
