At Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, we are determined to deliver on our vision of great places for care and great places to work.
This is an important time for our Trust. We are focused on improving quality, strengthening performance, delivering sustainable transformation and ensuring that people who use our services receive consistently safe, effective and compassionate care.
We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Executive Team as our new Chief Performance, Improvement and Transformation Officer. This is a newly created Board-level role with responsibility for bringing together performance, improvement and transformation into a single, integrated portfolio. The successful candidate will help create a clear line of sight from strategy to delivery, ensuring that improvement becomes the Trust's operating model and that priorities translate into measurable outcomes for patients, carers, colleagues and our communities.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and serving as a member of the unitary Board, you will lead the Trust's approach to performance management, improvement methodology, transformation delivery, programme management and organisational productivity. You will provide leadership across clinical, operational and corporate services, strengthening accountability, supporting delivery and helping the organisation improve at pace.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a values-led executive leader with significant experience of leading performance, improvement, and transformation within large, complex organisation. Ideally, you will bring experience of leading performance, or improvement, or transformation within mental health services, enabling you to quickly understand the operational, clinical and regulatory context and make an early impact.
If you are motivated by making a difference at scale and believe that improvement, performance and transformation should be inseparable, we would be delighted to hear from you.
For an informal conversation about the role, please contact Chris Oliver, Chief Executive Officer.
