Job summary
This post is to provide cover from January 2027 for 6 to 9 months. It involves a special interest in diabetes and childhood obesity. The successful applicant will join a team of 13 WTE consultant paediatricians. - Provide Complications of Excess Weight clinic (3-4 clinics per month and associated admin)
- 1 General Paediatric/1 Rapid referral out-patient clinic alternating weeks.
- Provide paediatric diabetes clinic (monthly)
- Participate in the General Paediatric 1 in 10 On Call rota, with resident evening cover (12-15 sessions per year (Sep-Mar) or pro rata equal to WTE) in line with FtF standards.
- Take a lead role for Quality and Risk for the Directorate (SPA time)
- Support to develop this interest for a motivated colleague would be offered.
