Job summary

We are looking for talented and ambitious band 7 Radiographers to support the expansion of our imaging departments and the introduction of additional imaging capacity across our modalities.

The Band 7 Radiographers undertake a varied role working within all of the Trust's Hospitals. You will already have highly developed skills and expertise in a wide range of modalities including CT, Interventional Radiography, Paediatric Imaging, Fluoroscopy, Emergency Department and General Imaging.

As a Band 7 Radiographer you will also need to be able to manage and lead an area of the Radiology Department in the absence of the Superintendent Radiographer. You will enhance your skills in all modalities whilst also gaining valuable experience in leadership and supervision.

The radiology department runs a 24/7 service and operates an out of hours system wherein radiographers are contracted to work out of hours shifts at night, on weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and enthusiastic person to join our team of Band 7 Radiographers. You will have highly developed skills and expertise in a wide range of modalities including CT, Interventional, Paediatric, Fluoroscopy, ED and General Imaging. You will also need to manage and lead an area of the Radiology Department in the absence of the Superintendent Radiographer.
