Main duties of the job

As a valued member of our Portering team, you will help support the smooth running of hospital services and contribute to delivering excellent patient care. This varied role includes patient movement, security duties, driving Health Board vehicles, post room operations, waste collection, the delivery and collection of food trolleys and linen, and transporting patient records across the hospital. Full training will be provided.

A full driving licence is required to drive Health Board vehicles, including a Category C1 licence where applicable. This requirement will be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, and reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate.
