An exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual has arisen to support the Orthotic service.
We are looking for an individual who will be highly motivated and organised with the ability to manage own workload. The individual must also be able to work well under pressure, perform general administrative duties and will need to provide a customer focussed service for all patients and visitors contacting the Orthotics department. This would include the coordination of all Orthotics clinics from receipt of referral to booking and changing appointments. The individual would also manage the deliveries of the patient's orthoses.
This will be for 25 hours over 4 working days.
Previous experience of working in healthcare is desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to have a proven experience working within a fast paced environment, demonstrate a flexible approach with the ability to manage workload and maintain professionalism during busy periods.
A typical day's duties would be:
Undertaking general administrative duties specific to the Orthotic Service.
Manage incoming and outgoing emails and telephone calls.
You will require excellent communication skills as you would be the first point of contact for patient enquiries and arranging appointments and communication with external supplier.
Scanning and entering referrals on to the patient administrative system (Maxims).
Entering orders of orthoses on to a spreadsheet tracker
Receipting goods received on Integra.
Receiving and tracking prescribed orthoses for patients (twice weekly)
