Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust for a permanent Junior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Applicants must have completed Foundation Year 2 and have at least six months NHS experience working a paid role in the NHS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or MRCOG. The post does not carry a National Training Number (NTN).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will undertake clinical sessions with duties within all areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. When on call during the daytime, the post holder will be included in the Junior Clinical Fellow on call rota covering Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The post holder will also participate in an emergency out of hours shift rota. It is anticipated that the post holder will work flexibly within the department with exposure to different sub-specialties.

- MBBS / MBChB or equivalent
- Life Support Qualifications (BLS and AED)
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice at time of application

Clinical Knowledge and Skills
